Peter Sheehy is the principle instructor at The Australian Pilates Academy and has had 20 years experience in the fitness industry where he was a rehabilitative exercise specialist. Peter was in the Australian Army for 23 years where he spent 18 of them as a fitness trainer. Whilst in the Army, Peter worked along side Physiotherapists and other related specialists in the rehabilitative field and refined his skills in core stabilization, at one stage Peter was in charge of rehabilitative care for all soldiers in the Sydney region. Peter has had extensive training in this area including studying with AOK health and completing their 7 courses in advanced stability training and control.
